The Hechinger Report Features Research Network Supported Study

A recent article by The Hechinger Report featured the findings from the Instructional Practices and Supports of Emergent Multilingual Learners (EML's) in Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) Classrooms in New York City study. The study by the Fordham University Graduate School of Education sought to examine teacher practices in support of EMLs in New York City UPK classrooms, as well as workforce characteristics and professional learning opportunities provided to UPK teachers and program leaders.
